What does one write in a journal?
Just write anything and everything that your character feels like. Random events that happened, anything really.

Why should my character have a journal?
It adds depth to your character.

How does one respond to a journal thread?
If your character was involved in the event described in the journal, rewrite the event from your character's POV.
If not, then responding is unnecessary.
