"Hmm I don't know, but I pity them. I wouldn't want to be that person," Rosalie said. She hoped she sounded calm, she was trying really hard not to show the panic on her face.

Emmett could hear the franticness in Rosalie's voice and hugged her close. "Don't worry, Alice and Jazz won't break up. They're just going through a rough patch. Do you honestly expect them to live happily ever after all the time?"

"I get your point, but what if they do break up?! What if....? What if..?" Rosalie was getting worked up.

Emmett held Rosalie out at arms length and scrutinized her face. "Rosalie Lillian, I swear if you do not calm down this minute, I will personally break Alice and Jasper up so you can stop worrying. They love each other very much, and they will talk this out when they go off to the beach. Alice probably staged this whole thing just so she could run off to have wild sex with Jasper without any of us eavesdropping or interrupting."

Rosalie was in shocked silence, She didn't know what to say.. Emmett had never been that abrupt before...

Emmett chuckled at his joke, then grew concerned as he noticed Rosalie's shock. "Babe, I'm sorry, that was out of line. Are you alright?" he looked anxiously into her eyes. "Please Rose, say something, even if it is just to call me an idiot."

"Its okay teddy bear," Rosalie said soothingly. "I was just shocked because you're probably right." She snuggled into Emmett's arms. 'I hope you're right though, we don't need anymore drama in this family for another century or two.'

"Nice to know sexiness is appreciated," Emmett joked as he kissed the top of Rosalie's head. "But since you love the sound of your voice so much, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to tell me everything you're thinking."

'Just let me know that you're not dying of anxiety,' he worried for Rosalie's mental health. 'I swear Alice is gonna get it when she comes back...'

"Well, I'm still a little worried about Alice and Jasper, but there's nothing I can really do for that. I'm also thinking about how nice it is to have some alone time with you," Rosalie said. "Why are you so worried about me?"

Emmett grinned, "That certainly seems fair, my dear." With that, he whisked her off her feet and planted a kiss on her lovely lips, one hand tangled gently in her soft blond locks. He pulled away, looking tenderly in her amber eyes, "I love you, Rose."

'God, I wonder how Jasper's holding up, if he feels the same way about Alice as I do about Rosalie,' he worried for his adoptive brother.

She sat in the drivers seat, wondering what to do about this whole sorry mess. "I think...I made a mistake in that diner..."

"I'm going to go to a club in Seattle," Alice lied smoothly, subconsciously making plans to ditch Jasper and meet up with the vampire hunter. "And there's this guy, he really does look a lot like you, but he's a hunter, and....I think I was supposed to meet him, not you."

Her voice ended apologetic, thinking over her latest vision and what it meant for all of the Cullens. 'I could be endangering everyone past the point of no return...then again, if I can convince this one hunter not to kill us....'
