A "Normal" Day at Forks High

"Dare," Jasper grinned. "Lay it on me, bro."

Oh, this will be easy, Edward sucks at giving dares, he mentally happy danced.

Jasper gasped, appalled by the idea. "No sex with Alice...for a year?" he whimpered.

Alice's eyes widened, "Edward, do you secretly hate us?"

"We can do it, sweetheart," he said, hugging Alice. "It's just a year, right? Not like it's for all eternity."

EDWARD! Just because YOU'RE not getting any doesn't mean you have to torture the rest of us! Jasper thought venomously, then turned to Alice, "Truth or dare, Alice?"

"Truth!" Alice replied cheerfully. Like I'll get a really hard question, Jasper knows pretty much everything, she smiled.

"Yes, because I knew there was a possibility that they'd kill you, and if I lost you, I don't know what I'd do," Alice explained, meeting Jasper's gaze surely. "Especially if you died because of something that I did; I'd have to ask the Volturi to off me as well."

She watched the reaction she got from the two guys. Edward looked understanding, and Jasper looked concerned. "Oh, Alice, you should have told me what you really saw, we could have worked together as a team. You didn't have to put yourself in harm's way for me," he said as he wrapped a protective arm around her shoulders.

"But I didn't want to see you get killed," Alice found it hard to control her shaking voice, then turned to Edward. "Truth or dare?"

"Alright then," Alice composed herself, calming down from her earlier emotional distress. "Do you think I did the right thing?"

She kept her mind blank after that, not wanting her thoughts to influence Edward's answer.

"I just didn't want anyone to get hurt because of me," Alice whispered.

"Truth," Jasper responded to Edward's question. Oh, this will be fun, he grinned to himself.

Jasper looked over at Alice, deciding whether or not he'd have to say it out loud. The look on Edward's face suggested he'd tell her himself if he thought it, so he swallowed and said, "We...were...singing Barbie Girl...in Rosalie's miniskirts..."

Alice blinked, unsure how to react. She decided on, "Oh wow...maybe I shouldn't leave you guys home alone when Rose and I go shopping...REALLY? Oh God," she closed her eyes, trying hard not to think about it. "Next time I go shopping, you're coming along, my dear."

"Dare," Alice grinned, knowing that Jasper wouldn't ask her to do anything too terrible.

This'll be easy, she thought happily.

"Very nice dare," Alice smiled.

"Thank you, I thought it was as well," Jasper grinned as he led Alice off the plane.

Edward glared at Jasper, who smiled back at him. Aw, don't be so sad, Eddy, he thought to Edward. At least now you won't have to worry about Alice and I annoying you late at night because we don't have anything better to do.

"Don't mentally goad him, Jazz," Alice chided gently.

"How'd you do that?" Jasper asked, somewhat alarmed.

"You had such an evil look on your face, it's not hard to tell what you're thinking," Alice explained.

"Let's keep at it, not like we have anything better to do," Alice suggested. "So, Edward, truth or dare?"

"I dare you," Alice had a mischievous look in her eyes, "to get laid within the next week."

"Nice," Jasper approved. Maybe you'll be nicer once you get some, Eddy boy, he mocked poor Edward.

"Dare," Jasper shrugged nonchalantly. "And I'm the only one allowed in Alice's pants, Eddy boy."

Alice's eyes widened. "God, that's scarring! I don't have to, right?"

"We'll see about that," Jasper smiled and turned to Alice. "Truth or dare, love?"

Please say dare, Alice, please say dare! he thought desperately.

"Dare," Alice smiled in anticipation at Jasper's dare.
